About Jana

Jana Beaton graduated with their BFA in photography from Toronto Metropolitan University in 2020.

They are a visual artist who works predominantly in lens-based media, and are driven by finding innovative ways to capture the human experience. Passionate about social equity, and fascinated by the emotional mind and its relation to body, they view their work as collaborative with both the subject matter, and the viewer.
